*Before the credits, we have a small flashback moment of Bob, showing his life before joining up with our Group.
The episode starts off with Sasha, Maggie and Bob in the fog, and it's fighting Walkers time with some very intense scenes. Bob escapes being bitten with the help of a bandage, but it's a scary moment with Sasha yelling out his name. The fog clears, and they see those signs for Terminus. A short discussion between all 3 is led by Maggie who wants to follow the signs. Sure of Glenn heading there, they decide to follow the signs although Sasha is skeptical but doesn't want to split up their group.
The next scene shows Beth injuring her ankle by stepping into a trap. Daryl carries her on his back into the cemetery where they stop at a headstone. We find out the Headstone says 'Loving Father' which sparks an emotional moment where they hold hands..... They then go on a search to the nearby funeral home and find food.
It seem very creepy that the bodies in the funeral home have been embalmed. The whole place seems cleaner than it should be for being in these rough times.
We switch back to Maggie and her Group. Maggie wanders away a bit from their Camp after overhearing Sasha and Bob, who both believe Glenn is dead and that they should find shelter and not waste time to search on him. Maggie decides to leave a breadcrumb trail for Glenn using walker blood. All three continue on together.
Beth and Daryl feel a bit lighter towards each other as they explore the Funeral Home. They hear what sounds like a Dog outside so Daryl decides to let him in and opens the Door. But it’s a walker herd. Daryl starts fighting for their lives, but right in the middle of his fight a black funeral car screeches in and grabs Beth. A Group or some people were out there all along watching Beth & Daryl. Daryl tries his best to get to her, but the car drives off. Daryl tries to follow and track, but eventually he loses their tracks.
Maggie is not stopping, and Bob & Sasha are concerned for her but can’t agree on what to do next. They start a short argument, and Bob kisses Sasha before taking off on his own to find Maggie who up and left.
Sasha continues alone and finds a warehouse, where she finds Maggie. Sasha & Maggie then go to find Bob.
Daryl sees Joe and the other guys from the house where Rick was resting for a while. They mistake Daryl for a man and a good old friend from the past. They believe Daryl is just like them. There are some tense moments, but Daryl decides to join them thinking they may lead him to Beth. Len is suspicious of Daryl and stand-offish, but goes along with Joe who says Daryl is an "Ok Dude."
Maggie, Sasha and Bob finally find each other.
At the very end, Glenn is seen looking at a sign for Terminus.

As always, take this episode spoiler with a grain of salt as not everything may be 100% percent accurate. However, everyone still seems to be alive even with rumours that Beth may be soon for the grave! I hope everyone enjoys tonight's episode and feel free to post any thoughts, comments, or just general opinions after watching!

Review "Claimed" (S04E11)
Looks like Nick and I weren't the only ones caught shittin', errr slippin', last week!
Hey, everybody it's been a looooooong couple of weeks for me and Nick, and with midterms looming on the horizon things don't bode well! However, we'll try our very best to keep getting content out to you on a more consistent basis with the possible addition of a third admin! Don't get too excited because we're still ironing out the details, but we should be able to start posting on a daily basis if things work out! Anyways, let's pre-game for tonight's episode with a little review of last week's!
Part 1: Rick, Michonne, and Carl
I think it's time that we all agree; Rick is the hide and seek champion of the universe! First he hides from a hospital full of biters while in a coma, and now he's hiding under a bed from a house full of marauders! Oh and did I forget to mention that he's probably still harboring massive bruising and broken bones? Carl might be up and coming, but Rick is still the man! The only other thing I learned in his scenes though is that there are a band of redneck, marauding douchebags currently within range of many of our wandering prisoners! Also, we've got a HUUUUUGE conflict coming up because at the end of the episode, we found out that Rick is headed in the same direction as Tyreese and more importantly Carol! I think if Rick had the balls to kick her out of the group before for being a murderer, then this little meet-up is not going to turn out so well Mama Carol and the Psycho twins!
Fortunately for Carol, Rick has Michonne and Carl to keep him on the straight and narrow. In the scenes where Michonne and Carl were scavenging for food, we find out a lot about Michonne's past and we get to see a strong bond formed between two of the most badass characters in the show. Could it be that Carl is going to be Michonne's apprentice samurai? I sure fucking hope so! More importantly, however, I like to think that, when Michonne found the mother that killed her two daughters, this was a scene that was all too familiar to her. A few weeks ago, I speculated that Michonne's lover may have murdered her son out of depression and desperation. After seeing the mother-daughter scene, I just know in my gut that my speculation is more fact than fiction!
Part Two: Abraham, et. al
Thisss ginga.. Finally we get to actually meet the great Sgt. Abraham Ford. Abraham is the total package when it comes to character depth. He has already shown us that he has passion and that when comes to his mission. He is willing to go to great lengths to support Eugene in his "endeavors" to race for a cure. Eugene shows us how wasteful he is by shooting up the trunk in an attempt to kill approaching walkers; while in the meantime Abraham and Glenn were fighting over whether Glenn going to find Maggie (whom Abraham claims to have died). After the altercation and the realization that the truck that Abraham was drive is not useless, they end up putting their differences aside for the betterment of the group and travel to find out the real fate of Maggie
This concludes the the review for The Walking Dead 4x11 "Claimed."

Spoilers for 4x12. "Still" all Daryl and Beth
Hey guys!!! Nick back! Sorry about not posting as frequently as I intended. I got too caught up with classes and such! But anyways, here is the spoiler set for this weeks episode. From the looks of it, it's an episode that's 1 of the 2 that are centered around Daryl. The spoiler seems kinda boring but I'm positive that this will be very very interesting. I mean it's about drinking. But without any delay here is your spoiler for episode 4x12 "Still".

This really is just a Daryl and Beth episode. There are no other familiar or unfamiliar characters in this episode. There is also no mention of Sanctuary and no other narration from Beth and her diary. If you have seen the promo and sneak peeks for the episode, read those topics, then you are mostly there already...mostly.
- The episode opens with the trunk scene we see in one of the sneak peeks.
- The next scene is the other sneak peek with the snake. After, while they are eating, Beth mentions that she wants a drink because Hershel never let her. Apparently, that is the "enlightened mission".
- They head through the grounds of the country club we've seen in the promos, apparently to pickup drinking supplies within the clubhouse. While they are there, they discover walkers, some hanging from the ceiling, as well as the "Rich Bitch" we've seen in the promos. No other sign deaths, though. Daryl works out some of his aggression on a walker with a golf club.
- Dismissing the poor selection of alcohol at the clubhouse, Daryl leads them to a cabin of sorts that he'd found with Michonne on one of their runs where they find moonshine. Daryl is not very forthcoming at first, Beth thinking him a "jerk", but Beth eventually convinces him to play a drinking game of "I Never".
- During the game we learn that Daryl has never been on vacation, out of Georgia, and while Beth has never been to jail, apparently Daryl has. Eventually this leads to a fight about Beth thinking that Daryl doesn't care about any of the people they lost at the prison and that Beth is just another dead girl. Daryl tells her he had a moment he could've killed the Governor, saved Hershel, and that reaches a moment of understanding and a hug between the two. Later, Daryl admits that before the walkers, he didn't really do much of anything with his life, just drifted around, following Merle and what he was told. Beth regrets that her father didn't get to grow old, have grandkids and find peace. She then tells Daryl that he's going to be the last man standing after she is dead and gone, that he was built to survive in this world.
- The final shot of the episode is Daryl and Beth burning down the cabin and flipping it off just before they walk off into the woods.

Spoilers for 4x10 "Inmates" and intro of new characters!
Hey guys! Nick back again! Sorry I haven't been posting as frequently as I had hoped. I have been killed with homework and work. But even with all of my business, I have been able to find the episode synopsis for 4x10 "Inmates". In this episode we find out the fate of Judith, see Daryl, who has a whole new persona, and we are introduced to some of my favorite characters from the comics: Abraham, Rosita and Eugene. If their storyline's become anything like the comics, then I assure you we are in for one helluva ride. Now without further adieu, the plot synopsis of "Inmates!

*Inmates" focuses on 4 groups, covers a portion of their story and goes to the next.
The first group we see are Daryl and Beth. Beth gives her speech that "they can't be the only ones who survived". Much of their interactions we have seen in the previews. We never find out who exactly left blood on the leaves that Daryl and Beth find. Daryl is withdrawn and shut down. They do not run into anyone from the other groups.
Tyreese has Judith along with Lizzie and Mika. The whereabouts of Molly and Luke are not clear. Tyreese leaves the children alone. Carol returns and rescues the children from walkers. There are signs for the "Sanctuary" (You know the one heard in 4x04 on the radio) noting to follow the tracks. Carol and the children do so. Tyreese and Carol end up seeing each other before the end of the episode.
It seems the prison group did not have an emergency meet up location. If they did, no one seems to be following it. Tyreese finds about about the sanctuary. He begins following the tracks.
Maggie, Bob and Sasha find the wrecked prison bus. Bob and Sasha seem to be fine even though we last saw both sick and wounded. Their scene ends at the bus.
Glenn's scene starts with him on the destroyed catwalk with reaching walkers below. While leaving the prison he finds Tara. Tara locked her self in a section of the prison. Scared, she explains who she is to him. She also tells Glenn about Hershel's death. They make it out of the prison. Their scene ends with them running into Abraham, Eugene and Rosita.*****

"After" Thoughts
When it comes to television series, I think The Walking Dead has earned the right to say "I win." I don't know how other people felt about the episode last week, but in my personal opinion I thought it was a freaking work of art! I have to admit that back in seasons 2 and 3 I was a little worried that the writers were just spinning their gears at times. They just wanted to "sit back and farm" and the show just dragged on. However, after seeing the first half of season four and now the mid-season premiere these guys are really turning things around! Also, as someone who recently began reading the comics, you can really see how hard they've been working in this past season to get back to the essence of the story as written in the comics. Until reading, I wasn't able to truly appreciate how much more dynamic the characters and story have become as the series has become more paralleled to the comic. This focus on character development was really showcased in After through Michonne and Carl.
I know there are a lot of people who share the opinion that last night's episode wasn't very good, more than likely due to the absence of Norman Reedus; however, the depth given to Michonne's character is what really made the episode great. Before last night, we were often left filling in the blanks with Michonne. She was very reserved to the Prison group, and more often than not was absent from the prison altogether. She shows up with a katana and pet walkers and we're just left to wonder, "Who the hell is this badass?" Well last night finally gave a lot of the answers I wanted to know. After first seeing Michonne's dream, I honestly have to say that I didn't know what the hell was going on! Once I went back and watched it again though, my mind was totally blown! First off, Michonne was looking pretty sexy wiping down that knife....errrr katana! After I got over that and realized that there were shifts of time happening within the dream so much was revealed about Michonne's past, like the fact that she lived with her boyfriend/husband?, their son, and who I presumed to be his brother. When the three of them begin talking about staying at the refugee camps after the fall, Michonne's lover ends their conversation on staying or leaving by simply asking Michonne, "Why?" I didn't really understand what this meant, but in context with the rest of the conversation I think he was essentially asking why they should keep living. Next the scene cut to a picture of the two men with their arms cut off but they're still living and the baby disappears? At this point my jaw literally smacked against my second chin in amazement! What the fuck was going on? Looking at the conversation before everyone's arms get cut off, Michonne's lover talks a lot about how this world wasn't a world worth living in and how his son didn't deserve this and shouldn't have to live in that world. Also, when Michonne is "speaking" to her boyfriend in Joe's she mentions that "it wasn't you (her boyfriend) that did those things to him (the baby)." For these reasons, I think that Michonne's lover and brother were not killed by biters but by Michonne. The way I see it this went down 1 of 2 ways
- Michonne's boyfriend gives up on hope for humanity and decides to take his own life so that he doesn't have to suffer through this hell any longer. However, this was before it was known that everyone was already infected with the virus; so naturally, or unnaturally I should say, the boyfriend comes back to live and eats the baby and his brother. Michonne comes home and cuts the arms off the two guys and keeps them around for some company!
- Michonne comes into a room where her boyfriend and his brother are standing over her dead child that they just suffocated. She whips out her sword, kills them both and they come back unexpectedly so she decides to keep them with her because she can't stand the idea of being alone.
Either way, this just goes to show why Michonne could be so closed off to everyone else, but more importantly it shows just how fucking nuts Michonne is. Within the comics, the state of Michonne's mental health is a lot less stable than is shown in the series. She often is found talking to herself and she is even seen to adopt the personality of her former lover. So all in all I thought this episode did a really amazing job of showing the extent of emotional instability Michonne is facing. Through all this though Michonne is seen in last night's episode as prevailing despite her breakdown as she is finally able to answer the question posed years before. When walking alongside the herd of walkers, Michonne realized that she couldn't go back to the way things were before the Prison, being alone all that time after losing her loved ones; without her friends, people who cared about whether she was alive or dead, she just felt like the corpses walking next to her trudging through their existence. By killing the herd, Michonne essentially killed the lone walker inside herself, setting off to find any group she could track from the prison.
The rest of the scenes in the show depicted a phenomenal adaptation from the comic story line. Robert Kirkman did make mention over the split-season hiatus that we would have an episode that was nearly verbatim of the comics.... We got just that.
The rest of the scenes in the show depicted a phenomenal adaptation from the comic story line. Robert Kirkman did make mention over the split-season hiatus that we would have an episode that was nearly verbatim of the comics.... We got just that.
We see a badly beat Rick being led by Carl who has a look of what seems to be a crossover of disgust and determination. Rick, continually falling behind, constantly yells for Carl to "Slow down!" in which Carl just stops and waits and then resumes his self-entitled leadership over his father. They managed to make it to a local biker bar. At this point we finally get to start witnessing what has come of the aftermath of the War of the Prison. Rick and Carl begin an argument of who should open the door and how they should go about clearing the bar out. Once inside, the pair notice a barricade and a note. The note reading "Please do what I couldn't" -Joe Jr. A walker appears on the other side of the barricade and as Carl gets ready to shoot it, Rick exclaims that "Every bullet counts" now. Rick finds an axe and tears down the barricade to release the walker, Joe Sr. Rick being weak after the war has gotten himself into quite a mess. As Rick slashes down at the zombie, the axe doesn't go deep enough to kill it prompting a struggle between the two where Carl just takes over and shoots it dead. Infuriated with the disobedience of his son, Rick yells at Carl in which Carl states that he saved Rick. This is where I was able catch a good grip on the dynamic of how the father/son relationship has shifted. Carl sees his father as more of a liability and blames him for what has happened (ie. Not killing The Gov., losing Judith (who is assumed to be dead and probably isn't), and Hershel's death). This resentment is all made blatantly obvious in Carl's monologue later in the episode when Rick is laying comatose recovering from the damage done to him by the Governor. However, Carl's monologue wasn't there just to show his growing resentment for Rick. I think that monologue showcases that Carl thinks of Rick not as a bad father, but more importantly he thinks of him as a bad leader. When you tie this in to the note that Joe Jr. wrote about doing what he could not, an idea is presented that a character in the show needs to step up and demonstrate that they can make the hard decisions and lead. This episode definitely showed that Carl could be that potential leader. He's learned so much following in the shadow of his father about leadership and what it should and shouldn't look like. He's learned patience from farming, snap decision making, and putting the people you care about first. I'm of the opinion that Carl would make a fantastic leader; however, an empty 112 oz can of pudding is proof that Carl still has some growing to do. He may be growing up in a world of monsters and nightmares, but he still remembers what it's like to be a kid and live a normal life. Because of this, he is unable to kill his father when he thinks Rick has turned accepting death instead. Ultimately, I think this shows that to truly take his father's place as leader, Carl needs to make the decision to take another man's life, possibly Rick's, to be stripped of his innocence and come into his role as the stories next great protagonist.
These are just some of my initial thoughts on last weeks episode that I wanted to get hashed out before the airing of the new episode tonight. I'd love to hear what other's opinions are especially regarding the roles of Rick, Michonne, and Carl! So please comment and share your thoughts!

Scene opens with an overhead shot of the prison. We see Michonne working her way through the walkers to get inside the prison. She finds rope and cuts off the arms of two walkers, making them into new pets. Flame is dead on the ground. We see the dead Governor on the ground, bullet hole through his head. Michonne finds Hershel’s head on the ground. He has turned. She barely hesitates as she plunges her katana into his temple. Then she gently closes his eyes and walks away. Cue opening credits.
Carl and Rick are walking along a wooded path, Carl is striding further and further away from Rick. “Slow down!” Rick yells. Carl has an intense look on his face, but waits for Rick to catch up. Rick puts his hand on Carl’s shoulder and tries to say that everything will be okay, but cannot finish the sentence due to Carl’s angry glare. Carl doesn’t want to hear it. Carl walks away and Rick looks after him, confused.
The find Joe Jr’s bar/burger shack. Rick goes up to the door and tells Carl to keep watch. Carl replies by saying “YOU keep watch.” Rick replies, “Excuse me?” Carl tells him that he (Rick) can barely even stand and that he is going to help him clear the bar. He even remarks that he should just do it himself. Rick relents and they go in together. After clearing the kitchen, Rick and Carl find a walker barricaded by some furniture. It is apparently Joe Jr., the owner. Carl raises his gun to shoot him but Rick says no, that he will lure the walker out and axe him in the head. Carl looks down to see a handwritten note that reads, “Please do what I couldn’t. –Joe Jr.” Rick lures Joe Jr. out and axes him, but Rick is weak and the axe does not stop the walker. Carl shoots. Rick berates him for shooting, telling him they have to save every bullet. The leave the bar.
The next scene finds Michonne coming out of the woods with her pets and finding the same path Rick and Carl took. She clearly sees their tracks, contemplates, then crosses the road and goes into the woods on the other side.
Rick and Carl are in a neighborhood now. They find a house and go in to clear it. Carl is very snarky with Rick and Rick keeps telling Carl what to do. Carl is fed up and bangs on the walls and says, “HEY ASS HOLE! HEY SHIT FACE!” Rick tells him to watch his mouth. Carl tells Rick that if there were walkers there they would have come out by now. Carl walks off to continue exploring the house. He finds a teenager’s room full of posters, electronics, gaming system, tv, etc. He looks around in wonder until he sees his reflection in the television. He snaps back to reality and yanks the cord from the back of the tv.
Rick is in a bathroom stripping down to inspect his wounds. His ribs appear to be broken and he is having a terrible time drawing breath. He stares at his reflection in the mirror and the scene cuts away.
They are both back downstairs now and Carl has tied the door knob to something to keep it from opening. Rick wants to move the couch in front of the door anyway. Carl says, “What, you don’t think it will hold? It’s a clove hitch. Shane taught me. Remember him?” Rick is taken aback by this and they argue briefly. Rick tries to get him to eat and Carl refuses. Lots of animosity from Carl.
(Flashback) Michonne is standing in a kitchen chopping vegetables. She is talking to her brother and her husband, Mike. They are having a conversation about an art show of some kind and talking about how lame it was. Michonne is talking, but she reaches down to clean her knife with a towel. As the towel moves down the knife, it turns into her katana. It is her katana we see her put back in the knife block.
Michonne turns around again to talk to the men and this time their clothes are worn and dirty. Her son comes into the room. He is about 18 months old. She walks over to talk to the men with her son in her arms. The men appear to be discussin what to do next. (Her pre-ZA dream is mixing with her ZA dream.) Mike says that he doesn’t think they can go on. One of the men asks Michonne, “Why?” The other asks her, “What’s the answer?” She looks down and her son is gone and looks up again and the men have their arms cut off. Michonne begins screaming. And then Michonne wakes from her dream and we find her sleeping in a car, her zombie pets still tied to the car outside.
We’re back to Rick and Carl in the house. It is morning and Rick has slept on the couch by the door while Carl slept upstairs in the teenager’s room. Carl comes in to wake Rick and he will not wake. He begins yelling, “Wake up!” This draws the attention of two walkers to the front door. Carl leaves the house out the back door and peeks around the corner. (This begins the sneak peek scene.) Carl leads the two walkers away down the road and into a back yard of some kind. He doesn’t notice the walker coming up behind him. It catches him off guard and he stumbles. He fights all three walkers and uses his gun to shoot all three, but not before all three fall on top of him. He gets out from underneath them and throws up. Then he straightens and says, “I win.”
The next scene is Michonne traveling through the woods with a small walker herd and her pets. She sees a woman walker that looks very similar to her. She looks away. When she looks back, the woman is not there. She continues on.
Back at the house, Carl has decided to go find more food. Before he leaves, he lets loose on a sleeping Rick. He makes a passionate speech to Rick about how he (Carl) saved him. He then tells Rick everything is his fault. That he hid and played farmer while the Governor was out there and Rick knew it. He said he couldn’t protect anyone – Hershel, Judith, mom… He finishes his tirade by saying, “You were supposed to be their leader. Now you’re nothing. I’d be fine if you died.”
Carl is now walking through the neighborhood and finds another house. He picks up a yard path light and tries to ram the door. He promptly falls backwards because he’s not strong enough to break the door. He manages to jimmy the lock and wanders around the kitchen and finds some food. He even finds a large can of chocolate pudding. Carl takes the light (which has a pointy metal end) up the stairs to clear the upper level. Two rooms are clear. The third one has a walker trying to burst out and Carl isn’t strong enough to close the door. As the walker falls out into the hallway, Carl runs into the room and tries to get out a window. It won’t open enough. The walker gets back into the room and goes after Carl. Lots of struggle. The walker has Carl’s foot a few times and its mouth several inches away. Carl’s shoe comes off. Carl runs out the door and manages to get all the books and junk out of the way and shut the door. He writes on the door, “Walker inside. Got my shoe. Didn’t get me.” Then we see Carl on the roof of the house eating the can of pudding, while the walker tries to reach him from the partially open window.
The next scene is Michonne again in the woods. She sees the walker woman again who looks like her. This time, she doesn’t ignore it. She takes out her katana and dispatches all of the walkers in the herd, about 15. Then stands and cries silently for a short moment. Michonne leaves the woods and goes back to the path where she saw Rick and Carl’s tracks. She decides to follow them. She makes it to Joe Jr.’s bar and finds the walker on the floor. She sits down by the door and talks to herself and to Mike. She tells him “It wasn’t you” who did that. She says she misses him and that he could be here with her right now and so could their son. (My interpretation of this is that Mike killed their son so that their son would not have to live in this world.) She looks up and says to herself, “I know why. I know the answer.” Michonne leaves the bar.
Back at the house it is dark and Rick is still asleep. Carl wakes up when he hears Rick’s rasping breath. It sounds like a walker’s growl. Rick’s arm slowly comes up and we hear more sounds. Rick falls off the couch. We still don’t see his face. Carl grabs his gun, ready to shoot walker Rick. He is crying now and aiming the gun. Finally he puts the gun down and says that he was wrong, he can’t shoot him. He tells walker Rick to “just do it.” Then we hear Rick say, “Carrrrllll.” He’s alive. Carl cradles Rick in his lap and tells him over and over that he’s scared.
When Rick wakes up and he and Carl have a heart to heart talk. Rick tells Carl that he is a man and that he is sorry. Carl tells him that he doesn’t need to be.
Michonne has now found the neighborhood and sees the empty can of pudding on the ground. She goes to the door and sees Rick and Carl through the window. She begins to tear up in relief. She knocks on the door. Inside the house, Rick and Carl jump up and Rick goes to the door and look through the peephole. His shoulders sag with relief and he turns around, smiling and looks at Carl and says, “It’s for you.”
